SOME WORKS

MANU BARBA
Hi, I’m Manu, master architect and master in historical construction technology.
After finishing my degree in 2015 and after an internship at the Yokohama National University, I started working as for the Bernalte León Asociados studio and shortly afterwards for the University of Castilla la Mancha. In 2018 I decided to start my adventure as a solo architect combining this work with being official tour guide in Granada, Seville, Malaga and especially The Alhambra, for which I obtained an official license.
I have always liked discover new things. While doing my architecture degree I taught urban photography and was editor of an architecture magazine. I have learned wordpress, structure and facilities calculus programs by necessity, binding techniques, stone carving, rammed earth, carpentry and sometimes I have even had to be bricklayer in my own works. These days I am more into flamenco, 3D printing and vintage motorcycles. From time to time I give talks and conferences, I write and participate in a podcast about architecture.
From Manu Barba. Architect & guide I seek to show the architecture done in all its breadth, from the smallest detail to the most complex restoration and tourism understood from the rigor of the academic sources and my own experience in architecture.
